FAQ
Will this fit my Wrangler JK?
Will this fit my Wrangler JK?
Designed exclusively for the Wrangler JK 4-Door (2007–2018). Bolts directly into factory mounting points — no drilling, no modification. Does not fit the 2-door JK or any year of the JL.
My JK is lifted. Will these still bolt on correctly?
My JK is lifted. Will these still bolt on correctly?
Yes. These mount to the factory rocker panel holes, not the suspension — so a body or suspension lift doesn't affect fitment. The step position relative to the ground will be slightly higher on a lifted Jeep, but the install itself is unaffected.
Will these clear my aftermarket rocker guards or armor?
Will these clear my aftermarket rocker guards or armor?
Depends on your setup. These are designed for stock rocker panels. If you've added aftermarket rock sliders or rocker armor that covers the factory mounting points, fitment may be affected. Check your mounting hole access before ordering.
Can I install this myself without a lift or special tools?
Can I install this myself without a lift or special tools?
Yes. Standard hand tools are all you need. The bolts go into existing factory holes — no jack stands or lift required. Most owners do it flat on the driveway in about 30 minutes.
Will these hold up on actual trails — rock crawling, mud, water crossings?
Will these hold up on actual trails — rock crawling, mud, water crossings?
Built for it. Carbon steel construction with electrocoating primer and black wrinkle topcoat — sealed against mud, water, road salt, and UV. Rated at 550 lbs per side, so they won't flex under load when you're using them as a step up on the trail.
How do I keep them clean after muddy trails?
How do I keep them clean after muddy trails?
A pressure washer handles most of it. The textured surface sheds mud well, and the wrinkle finish doesn't trap debris the way smooth coatings do. For salt buildup after winter driving, a rinse after each trip keeps the coating in good shape long-term.
