FAQ
WILL THIS MAGNETIC MOUNT FIT MY VEHICLE?
It fits only if the exact mounting area is made from clean, flat magnetic steel and provides enough space for all four magnetic feet. Compatibility cannot be confirmed by vehicle make and model alone. Test the intended installation area with a household magnet before ordering.
DOES IT WORK ON ALUMINUM ROOFS OR HOODS?
No. Magnets will not attach securely to aluminum. The mount also does not fit fiberglass, composite, glass or non-magnetic stainless-steel panels.
ARE THE SAFETY STRAPS OPTIONAL?
No. Both straps should be installed as instructed. They provide secondary retention beyond the magnetic base and should be inspected before every use.
WILL THE MAGNETIC MOUNT SCRATCH MY VEHICLE?
The mount includes cushioned contact areas, but no magnetic vehicle accessory can guarantee a completely scratch-free installation. Dirt, sand or metal particles trapped between the mount and paint may cause damage. Clean both surfaces before installation and never slide the mount across the paint.
WILL THE MOUNT IMPROVE MY STARLINK SIGNAL?
The mount does not amplify or boost the signal. It gives you a removable way to position your Starlink Mini outside the vehicle. Connection quality depends on service availability, correct orientation and a clear view of the sky. Use the Starlink App obstruction tool before setup.
CAN I USE IT ON A JEEP WRANGLER OR GLADIATOR?
Do not assume compatibility based on the vehicle name. Wrangler hardtops are not magnetic steel, and other panels may be aluminum, curved or too small for full contact. Test the exact mounting location before ordering.
IS THE STARLINK MINI INCLUDED?
No. The package includes the magnetic mounting system, safety straps and listed installation hardware. The Starlink Mini and power cable are not included.
